   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to section 45.29 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, hereby appoints Ian D.C. McPhail, Q.C., of Toronto, Ontario, to be part-time Vice-Chairman of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Public Complaints Commission, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of one year, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is comprised of a per diem within the range GCQ 4 ($580 - $680).

   Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu de l’article 45.29 de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Ian D.C. McPhail, c.r., de Toronto (Ontario), vice-président à temps partiel de la Commission des plaintes du public contre la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat d’un an, et fixe son traitement conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement est composé d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle GCQ 4 (580 $ - 680 $).
