Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement on Air Transport between Canada and the European Community and its Member States; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing the Honourable John Baird, Minister of Transport, or the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister for International Trade, or Ross Hornby, Ambassador of Canada to the European Union, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement on Air Transport between Canada and the European Community and its Member States.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord sur le transport aérien entre le Canada et la Communauté européenne et ses États membres;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant l’honorable John Baird, ministre des Transports, ou l’honorable Stockwell Day, ministre du Commerce international, ou Ross Hornby, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de l’Union européenne, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord sur le transport aérien entre le Canada et la Communauté européenne et ses États membres.
