Whereas, pursuant to subsection 11(3) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Electronic Stability Control Systems), substantially in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on March 14, 2009, and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect to the proposed Regulations;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 11(1) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Electronic Stability Control Systems).

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 11(3) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (systèmes de contrôle électronique de la stabilité), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 14 mars 2009 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre des Transports,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 11(1) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (systèmes de contrôle électronique de la stabilité), ci-après.
