Whereas vacancies exist in the officer establishment numbers within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the maximum of which, in each rank, is prescribed by the Treasury Board pursuant to subsection 6(2) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to paragraph 6(3)(c) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, hereby appoints, by way of promotion, the officers of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police whose names are set out in Column 1 in the annexed schedule to the rank set out opposite their name in Column 2.
Attendu qu’il existe des vacances au sein de l’effectif des officiers de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, dont le nombre maximal de chaque grade est fixé par le Conseil du Trésor en vertu du paragraphe 6(2) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada,
À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu de l’alinéa 6(3)c) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme, par voie de promotion, les officiers de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada dont le nom figure à la colonne 1 de l’annexe ci-jointe au grade indiqué en regard à la colonne 2.
