Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 452 of An Act to amend the law governing financial institutions and to provide for related and consequential matters, chapter 6 of the Statutes of Canada, 2007, hereby fixes January 1, 2010 as the day on which subsection 186(1), sections 257, 263, 271, 275, 276, 278, 285 to 287, 292 and 296 to 298, subsection 309(2), section 445, subsection 446(1) and section 447 of the Act come into force.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu de l’article 452 de la Loi modifiant la législation régissant les institutions financières et comportant des mesures connexes et corrélatives, chapitre 6 des Lois du Canada (2007), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 1^er janvier 2010 la date d’entrée en vigueur du paragraphe 186(1), des articles 257, 263, 271, 275, 276, 278, 285 à 287, 292 et 296 à 298, du paragraphe 309(2), de l’article 445, du paragraphe 446(1) et de l’article 447 de cette loi.
