   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, hereby:

 (a)  pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Merchant Seamen Compensation Act, appoints Caroline Cyr of Ottawa, Ontario, to be a member of the Merchant Seamen Compensation Board, to hold office during pleasure; and

 (b)  pursuant to subsection 3(2) of the Merchant Seamen Compensation Act, designates Caroline Cyr as chairman of the Merchant Seamen Compensation Board.

   Sur recommandation de la ministre du Travail, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 a)  en vertu du paragraphe 3(1) de la Loi sur l’indemnisation des marins marchands, nomme Caroline Cyr, d’Ottawa (Ontario), commissaire de la Commission d’indemnisation des marins marchands, à titre amovible;

 b)  en vertu du paragraphe 3(2) de la Loi sur l’indemnisation des marins marchands, désigne Caroline Cyr, présidente de la Commission d’indemnisation des marins marchands.
