Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that it is in the public interest to do so, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Financial Administration Act, hereby remits tax in the amount of $31,174.08, paid under Division II of Part IX of the Excise Tax Act by Liard First Nation in respect of band management activities during the period beginning on April 1, 1998 and ending on March 31, 2000.

Sur recommandation du ministre du Revenu national et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil, estimant que l’intérêt public le justifie, fait remise à la Liard First Nation de la somme de 31 174,08 $ au titre de la taxe payée en application de la section II de la partie IX de la Loi sur la taxe d’accise relativement à des activités de gestion de la bande pendant la période commençant le 1^er avril 1998 et se terminant le 31 mars 2000.
