Whereas Her Majesty in right of Canada, Her Majesty in right of the Province of British Columbia and the Maa-nulth First Nations have entered into and ratified the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement;

And whereas the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement is approved, given effect, declared valid and has the force of law as provided by the Maanulth First Nations Final Agreement Act, being chapter 18 of the Statutes of Canada, 2009 and the Maanulth First Nations Final Agreement Act, being chapter 43 of the Statutes of British Columbia, 2007, both of which Acts have come into force before the transfer of administration and control effected by this Order;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 16(1)(e) of the Federal Real Property and Federal Immovables Act, hereby transfers, in perpetuity, to Her Majesty in right of the Province of British Columbia the administration and control of the entire residual interest, if any, of Her Majesty in right of Canada in the Former Federal Lands as set out in the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement.

This transfer of administration and control takes effect immediately after the Maa-nulth First Nations own the estate in fee simple in the Former Federal Lands in accordance with the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement.

Attendu que Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, Sa Majesté du chef de la province de la Colombie-Britannique et les premières nations maa-nulthes ont conclu et ratifié l’Accord définitif concernant les premières nations maanulthes;
