   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, hereby:

 (a)  pursuant to sections 3 and 6 of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada Act, appoints J. Richard W. Hall of Vancouver, British Columbia, to be a full-time member of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of four years;

 (b)  pursuant to section 4 of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada Act, designates J. Richard W. Hall as Chairperson of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada; and

 (c)  pursuant to section 7 of the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada Act, fixes his remuneration at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range GCQ 5 ($133,200 - $156,800);

effective November 23, 2009.

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 a)  en vertu des articles 3 et 6 de la Loi sur le Tribunal d’appel des transports du Canada, nomme J. Richard W. Hall, de Vancouver (Colombie-Britannique), conseiller à temps plein du Tribunal d’appel des transports du Canada, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat de quatre ans;

 b)  en vertu de l’article 4 de la Loi sur le Tribunal d’appel des transports du Canada, désigne J. Richard W. Hall, président du Tribunal d’appel des transports du Canada;

 c)  en vertu de l’article 7 de la Loi sur le Tribunal d’appel des transports du Canada, fixe sa rémunération au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 5 (133 200 $ - 156 800 $);

à compter du 23 novembre 2009.
