    Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 6(3) of the Financial Administration Act, hereby appoints James Ralston of Ottawa , Ontario, to be Comptroller General of Canada, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary and other conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($206,700 - $243,200), effective October 3, 2009.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 6(3) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme James Ralston , d’Ottawa (Ontario), contrôleur général du Canada, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (206 700 $ - 243 200 $), à compter du 3 octobre 2009.
