  Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 3 and subsections 5(2) and 5(3) of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act, hereby re-appoints Suromitra Sanatani of Victoria, British Columbia, as a member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years, effective October 30, 2009.
