   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 3 of the Pilotage Act, hereby approves the appointment by the Minister of Transport of Alan Stockdale of Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a member of the Altantic Pilotage Authority to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years, in the place of Ian C. Swan, effective September 12, 2009.

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la nomination par le ministre des Transports d’Alan Stockdale, d’Halifax (Nouvelle-Écosse), membre de l'Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique à titre amovible pour un mandat de trois ans, en remplacement de Ian C. Swan, à compter du 12 septembre 2009.
