   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to Vote No. 1 (Foreign Affairs and International Trade) of Appropriation Act No. 2, 2009-10, hereby appoints:

 James Fox as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Italian Republic, with concurrent accreditation as High Commissioner for Canada to the Republic of Malta; and as Permanent Representative of Canada to the Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Food Programme and to the International Fund for Agricultural Development, in Rome;

 François Lafond as Consul General of Canada in Monterrey, United Mexican States;

 Sandra McCardell as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya;

 Stephen Millar as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan; and

 Andrew Shisko as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Ecuador.

étrangères et en vertu du crédit n^o 1 (Affaires étrangères et Commerce international) de la Loi de crédits nº 2 pour 2009-2010, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme :

 James Fox en qualité d'ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la République italienne, avec accréditation simultanée en qualité de haut-commissaire du Canada auprès de la République de Malte et de représentant permanent du Canada auprès de l'Organisation pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture, du Programme alimentaire mondial et du Fonds international de développement agricole, à Rome;

 François Lafond en qualité de consul général du Canada à Monterrey (États-Unis du Mexique);

 Sandra McCardell en qualité d'ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la Jamahiriya arabe libyenne populaire et socialiste;

 Stephen Millar en qualité d'ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la République du Kazakhstan;

 Andrew Shisko en qualité d'ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la République de l'Équateur.
