Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes that Minister:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Stockwell Day, Minister for International Trade, or Margaret Huber, Ambassador of Canada to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, or Donald Stephenson, Assistant Deputy Minister, Trade Policy and Negotiations, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci, selon le cas :

a) à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et le Royaume hachémite de Jordanie;

b) à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Stockwell Day, ministre du Commerce international, ou Margaret Huber, ambassadeur du Canada auprès du Royaume hachémite de Jordanie, ou Donald Stephenson, sous-ministre adjoint, Politique et négociations commerciales, ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Commerce international, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et le Royaume hachémite de Jordanie.
