    Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 4 and 5 of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act, hereby appoints Richard Fadden of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his   salary   as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($228,000 - $268,300), effective June 27, 2009.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 4 et 5 de la Loi sur le Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Richard Fadden, d’Ottawa (Ontario), directeur du Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe son traitement   conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (228 000 $ - 268 300 $), à compter du 27 juin 2009.
