Whereas the Honourable Rodolphe Bilodeau, a Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec, will attain the age of seventy-five years on July 15, 2009, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Rodolphe Bilodeau has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $178,133.33 to the Honourable Rodolphe Bilodeau, commencing on July 15, 2009 and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Rodolphe Bilodeau, juge de la Cour supérieure du Québec, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 15 juillet 2009 et, en conséquence, cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu de l’article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Rodolphe Bilodeau a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable Rodolphe Bilodeau, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 178 133,33 $, payable à compter du 15 juillet 2009.
