              Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 8 of the National Defence Act, hereby appoints Hélène Gosselin of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of National Defence, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes her salary at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($153,000 - $180,100), effective April 22, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l'article 8 de la Loi sur la défense nationale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Hélène Gosselin, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre délégué de la Défense nationale, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement au taux spécifié à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (153 000 $ - 180 100 $), à compter du 22 avril 2003.
