Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement on Civil Aviation Safety between Canada and the European Community; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing John Baird, Minister of Transport, or Ross Hornby, Ambassador of Canada to the European Union, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement on Civil Aviation Safety between Canada and the European Community.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord sur la sécurité de l’aviation civile entre le Canada et la Communauté européenne;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant John Baird, ministre des Transports, ou Ross Hornby, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de l’Union européenne, à signer au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord sur la sécurité de l’aviation civile entre le Canada et la Communauté européenne.
