Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between Canada and the Czech Republic for the Promotion and Protection of Investments; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Stockwell Day, Minister for International Trade, or Louis Lévesque, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Michael Calcott, Ambassador of Canada to the Czech Republic, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between Canada and the Czech Republic for the Promotion and Protection of Investments.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et la République tchèque concernant la promotion et la protection des investissements;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Stockwell Day, ministre du Commerce international, ou Louis Lévesque, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Michael Calcott, ambassadeur du Canada en République tchèque, à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et la République tchèque concernant la promotion et la protection des investissements.
