Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Framework Agreement on Integrated Cross-Border Maritime Law Enforcement Operations between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Peter Van Loan, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, or Robert Douglas Nicholson, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Framework Agreement on Integrated Cross-Border Maritime Law Enforcement Operations between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord cadre sur les opérations intégrées transfrontalières maritimes d’application de la loi entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Peter Van Loan, ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, ou Robert Douglas Nicholson, ministre de la Justice et procureur général du Canada, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord cadre sur les opérations intégrées transfrontalières maritimes d’application de la loi entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique.
