Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, pursuant to section 12 of the Donkin Coal Block Development Opportunity Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Natural Resources, on behalf of Her Majesty in right of Canada, enter into an agreement with the Government of Nova Scotia with respect to the collection and administration of coal and coal-bed methane royalties, interest and penalties on behalf of the Government of Canada, and to the remittance of those amounts by the Government of Canada to Nova Scotia, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement.
Sur recommandation de la ministre des Ressources naturelles et en vertu de l’article 12 de la Loi sur les possibilités de la mise en valeur de la réserve de charbon Donkin, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celle-ci à conclure, au nom de Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, un accord avec le gouvernement de la Nouvelle-Écosse concernant les modalités de perception et d’administration, pour le compte du gouvernement du Canada, de redevances, intérêts et amendes sur le charbon et le méthane de houille et la remise de ces sommes par celui-ci à la Nouvelle-Écosse, conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
