                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 26 and 28 of the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency Act, hereby appoints Alan Nymark of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Commissioner of Customs and Revenue, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($176,000 - $207,100), effective June 2, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 26 et 28 de la Loi sur l’Agence des douanes et du revenu du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Alan Nymark, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de commissaire des douanes et du revenu, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (176 000 $ - 207 100 $), à compter du 2 juin 2003.
