Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes

the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the International Tropical Timber Agreement, 2006; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing

John McNee, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada

to the United Nations in New York, or Henri-Paul Normandin, Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative of Canada to

the United Nations in New York, to sign, on behalf of the Government

of Canada, subject to ratification, the International Tropical Timber Agreement, 2006.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères,

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve

de ratification, l’Accord international de 2006 sur les bois tropicaux;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant John McNee, ambassadeur et représentant permanent du Canada auprès des Nations Unies à New York, ou Henri-Paul Normandin, ambassadeur et représentant permanent adjoint du Canada auprès

des Nations Unies à New York, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord international de 2006 sur les bois tropicaux.
