Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Protocol Amending the Agreement Between the Government of Canada and the People’s Republic of China on Maritime Transportation; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing John Baird, Minister of Transport, or Louis Ranger, Deputy Minister of Transport, or Robert Wright, Ambassador of Canada to the People’s Republic of China, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Protocol Amending the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the People’s Republic of China on Maritime Transportation.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, le Protocole modifiant l’Accord sur le transport maritime entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République populaire de Chine;

b) soit à préparer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant John Baird, ministre des Transports, ou Louis Ranger, sous-ministre des Transports, ou Robert Wright, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République populaire de Chine, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, le Protocole modifiant l’Accord sur le transport maritime entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République populaire de Chine.
