   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

 (a)  pursuant to subsection 12(1) of the Supreme Court Act, hereby directs that a Commission under the Great Seal do issue appointing Roger Bilodeau, Q.C., of Ottawa, Ontario, a fit and proper person, being a barrister of at least five years standing, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada, to hold office during pleasure; and

 (b)  pursuant to subsection 13(1) of that Act, fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the attached schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($160,600 - $188,900);

effective March 2, 2009.

     Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 a)  en vertu du paragraphe 12(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, ordonne que soit prise une commission, revêtue du grand sceau, nommant Roger Bilodeau, c.r., d’Ottawa (Ontario), une personne qualifiée inscrite depuis au moins cinq ans au barreau, au poste de registraire de la Cour suprême du Canada, à titre amovible;

 b)  en vertu du paragraphe 13(1) de la même loi, fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (160 600 $ - 188 900 $);

à compter du 2 mars 2009.
