Whereas, pursuant to section 26 of the

Energy Efficiency Act, a copy of the proposed

Regulations Amending the Energy Efficiency Regulations, substantially in the annexed form, was published in the

Canada Gazette, Part I, on March 29, 2008 and a reasonable opportunity was given to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Natural Resources with respect to the proposed Regulations;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, pursuant to sections 20 and 25 of the Energy Efficiency Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Energy Efficiency Regulations.

Attendu que, en vertu de l’article 26 de

la Loi sur l’efficacité énergétique, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’efficacité énergétique, conforme en substance au texte ci‍-‍après, a été publié dans

la Gazette du Canada Partie I, le 29 mars 2008, et que les personnes intéressées ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre des Ressources naturelles,

À ces causes, sur recommandatio n de la ministre des Ressources naturelles et en vertu des articles 20 et 25 de la Loi sur l’efficacité énergétique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’efficacité énergétique, ci‍-‍après.
