Whereas, by Order in Council P.C. 2008-194 of
January 31, 2008, made in accordance with the Kawacatoose Band Treaty Land Entitlement Settlement Agreement, dated October 20, 2000, the lands described in the schedule to that Order were set apart for the use and benefit
of the Kawacatoose First Nation as an addition to Kawacatoose First Nation Indian Reserve No. 88, in the Province of Saskatchewan;
And whereas the amount of hectares and acres stated in
Order in Council P.C. 2008-194 of January 31, 2008 and in the schedule
to that Order are incorrect;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on
the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, hereby amends
(a) Order in Council P.C. 2008-194 of January 31, 2008, by replacing
the references to “257.99 hectares (637.51 acres)” and “259 hectares
(640 acres)”, respectively, with “257.985 hectares (637.49 acres)”
and “258.595 hectares (639 acres)”; and
(b) the schedule to the Order by replacing the references to
“257.99 hectares” and “259 hectares (640 acres)”, respectively,
with “257.985 hectares” and “258.595 hectares (639 acres)”.
Attendu que, par le décret C.P. 2008-194 du
31 janvier 2008, pris conformément à l’accord intitulé Kawacatoose Band Treaty Land Entitlement Settlement Agreement, daté du 20 octobre 2000, les terres délimitées à l’annexe de ce décret ont été mises de côté, à l’usage et au profit
de la Première nation Kawacatoose à titre d’ajout à la réserve indienne Kawacatoose First Nation no 88, dans la province de la Saskatchewan;
Attendu que le nombre d’hectares et d’acres indiqué dans
le décret C.P. 2008-194 du 31 janvier 2008, ainsi que dans l’annexe de celui-ci, est incorrect,
À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil modifie :
a) le décret C.P. 2008-194 du 31 janvier 2008 en remplaçant
les mentions « 257,99 hectares (637,51 acres) » et « 259 hectares
(640 acres) », respectivement, par « 257,985 hectares (637,49 acres) »
et « 258,595 hectares (639 acres) »;
b) l’annexe de ce décret en remplaçant les mentions « 257,99 hectares »
et « 259 hectares (640 acres) », respectivement, par « 257,985 hectares »
et « 258,595 hectares (639 acres) ».
