 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, hereby

 (a)  after consultation with the board of directors of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, pursuant to subsection 134(1) of the Financial Administration Act, appoints KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants, of Toronto, Ontario, as auditor of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009; and

 (b)  pursuant to subsection 134(2) of the Financial Administration Act, appoints the Auditor General of Canada as joint auditor of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009.

  Sur recommandation de la ministre des Ressources naturelles, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 a)  après consultation du conseil d’administration d’Énergie atomique du Canada limitée, et en vertu du paragraphe 134(1) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, nomme KPMG LLP, comptables agréés, de Toronto (Ontario), vérificateur d’Énergie atomique du Canada limitée pour l’année financière se terminant le 31 mars 2009;

 b)  en vertu du paragraphe 134(2) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, nomme le vérificateur général du Canada, covérificateur d’Énergie atomique du Canada limitée pour l’année financière se terminant le 31 mars 2009.
