Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on
the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 48 of the
Canada Transportation Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities enter into contribution agreements to provide funding to CTMA Traversiers Ltée in respect of the regional ferry service between Cap-aux-Meules, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, and
Souris, Prince Edward Island, to Northumberland Ferries Ltd. in respect of the regional ferry service between Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island, and Caribou, Nova Scotia and to Bay Ferries Ltd. in respect of the regional ferry service between Saint John, New Brunswick, and Digby, Nova Scotia, for the maximum amounts of $10 million for each recipient for each of the two fiscal years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.

de l’Infrastructure et des Collectivités, et du Conseil du Trésor, et en
vertu de l’article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence
la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée que le ministre des Transports,
de l’Infrastructure et des Collectivités conclue des accords de contribution
afin d’assurer du financement à la société CTMA Traversiers Ltée pour
le service de traversier régional entre Cap-aux-Meules, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, au Québec, et Souris, à l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, à la société Northumberland Ferries Ltd. pour le service de traversier régional entre Wood Islands,
à l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, et Caribou, en Nouvelle-Écosse, et à la société
Bay Ferries Ltd. pour le service de traversier régional entre Saint John,
au Nouveau-Brunswick, et Digby, en Nouvelle-Écosse, pour la somme maximale de dix millions de dollars pour chaque bénéficiaire pour chacun
des exercices 2009-2010 et 2010-2011.
