Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to paragraph 39(1)(c) and section 40 of the

Indian Act, hereby accepts:

(a) the revocation of surrender dated March 27, 1968 accepted by Order in Council P.C. 1968-938 of May 15, 1968 related to Switsemalph Indian Reserve No. 7, in the Province of British Columbia; and

(b) the designation made to Her Majesty in right of Canada by the Adams Lake Indian Band of a portion of Switsemalph Indian Reserve No. 7 for residential and commercial purposes;

which revocation of surrender and designation were assented to by the Adams Lake Indian Band on March 12, 2008 and are set out in the attached schedule.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et

du Nord canadien et en vertu de l’alinéa 39(1)c) et de l’article 40 de la

Loi sur les Indiens, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil,

accepte :

a)   la révocation de la cession datée du 27 mars 1968 et

acceptée par le décret C.P. 1968-938 du 15 mai 1968 relative à

 la réserve indienne Switsemalph n^o 7, dans la province de la

Colombie Britannique;

b) la désignation présentée à Sa Majesté du chef du Canada par la bande indienne d’Adams Lake d’une partie de la réserve indienne Switsemalph n^o 7 à des fins résidentielles et commerciales.

Ces révocation et désignation ont été sanctionnées par la bande indienne d’Adams Lake le 12 mars 2008 et figurent à l’annexe

ci-jointe.
