    Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes:

(a) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Framework Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for Cooperation on Science, Technology and Innovation; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Stockwell Day, Minister for International Trade, or Peter Kent, Minister of State of

Foreign Affairs (Americas), or Paul Hunt, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Federative Republic of Brazil, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Framework Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for Cooperation on Science, Technology and Innovation.

    Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord cadre entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République fédérative du Brésil sur la coopération en science, technologie et innovation;

b) soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Stockwell Day, ministre du Commerce international, ou Peter Kent, ministre d’État des Affaires étrangères (Amériques), ou Paul Hunt, ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la République fédérative du Brésil, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord cadre entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République fédérative du Brésil sur la coopération en science, technologie et innovation.
