Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation Act, hereby appoints John S. McFarlane, Q.C., of Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a director of the Board of Directors of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.  

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur la Société d'assurance-dépôts du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme John S. McFarlane, c.r., d’Halifax (Nouvelle‑Écosse), administrateur du conseil d'administration de la Société d'assurance-dépôts du Canada, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans.
