Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 7(2) of the Canada Border Services Agency Act, hereby appoints Luc Portelance of Orleans, Ontario, to be Executive Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency, to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years, and fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range                       ($177,000 - $208,300), effective August 15, 2008.
