Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

 

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America on Emergency Management Cooperation; or

 

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing the Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, or Michael Wilson, Ambassador of Canada to the United States of America, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America on Emergency Management Cooperation.

 

 

 

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise le ministre des Affaires étrangères :

 

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États‑Unis d’Amérique concernant la gestion des urgences;

 

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant l’honorable Stockwell Day, ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, ou

Michael Wilson, ambassadeur du Canada auprès des États-Unis d’Amérique, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États‑Unis d’Amérique concernant la gestion des urgences.
