Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to paragraph 9(2)(b) and subsection 10(1) of the Budget Implementation Act, 1997, hereby appoints Natalie E. Dakers of Vancouver, British Columbia, to be a director of the board of directors of the Canada Foundation for Innovation, to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.
