Whereas the Minister of Foreign Affairs has consulted with the Leader of the Opposition and the leader of every other recognized party in the House of Commons;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs,  after consultation with the Board of Directors of the International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development, pursuant to sections 7 and 9 of the International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development Act, hereby appoints Rémy Beauregard of Toronto, Ontario, to be President of the International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range ($157,300 ‑ $185,100), effective July 7, 2008.

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, après consultation du conseil d’administration du Centre international des droits de la personne et du développement démocratique et en vertu des articles 7 et 9 de la Loi sur le Centre international des droits de la personne et du développement démocratique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Rémy Beauregard, de Toronto (Ontario), président du conseil d'administration du Centre international des droits de la personne et du développement démocratique, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l’échelle (157 300 $ - 185 100 $), à compter du 7 juillet 2008.
