Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 3(2) and paragraph 3(4)(c) of the National Capital Act, hereby approves the appointment by the Minister of Transport of Brent Stefanson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, to be a member of the National Capital Commission to hold office during pleasure for a term of four years, in the place of James S. Yamashita, effective August 29, 2008.   

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 3(2) et de l’alinéa 3(4)c) de la Loi sur la capitale nationale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la nomination par le ministre des Transports de Brent Stefanson, de Winnipeg (Manitoba), commissaire de la Commission de la capitale nationale à titre amovible pour un mandat de quatre ans, en remplacement de James S. Yamashita, à compter du 29 août 2008.
