   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 452 of An Act to amend the law governing financial institutions and to provide for related and consequential matters, chapter 6 of the Statutes of Canada, 2007, hereby fixes May 19, 2008 as the day on which subsections 48(1), (2), (4) and (5), sections 50 to 56, 58 to 66, 69 to 74, 129, 232 and 439 of that Act come into force.

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu de l’article 452 de la Loi modifiant la législation régissant les institutions financières et comportant des mesures connexes et corrélatives, chapitre 6 des Lois du Canada (2007), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 19 mai 2008 la date d’entrée en vigueur des paragraphes 48(1), (2), (4) et (5) et des articles 50 à 56, 58 à 66, 69 à 74, 129, 232 et 439 de cette loi.
