Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into a renewed agreement with the Province of Prince Edward Island, substantially in accordance with the annexed Agreement for Canada _ Prince Edward Island Co-operation on Immigration.

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve que la ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration conclue, avec le gouvernement de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, de l’Accord de collaboration Canada _ Île-du-Prince-Édouard sur l’immigration, lequel accord est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
