                  Her Excellency the Governor General in Council,

on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 48 of the Canada Transportation Act, hereby approves the entry by the Minister of Transport into agreements, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the annexed draft contribution agreement, for the purpose of extending to March 31, 2004, the financial contributions to the costs of deployment and integration of intelligent transportation systems across Canada, under the Intelligent Transportation Systems Deployment and Integration Program.

                  Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l’article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre des Transports, d’accords, conformes aux conditions précisées dans le projet d’accord ci-joint, en vue de prolonger jusqu’au 31 mars 2004, le financement du déploiement et l’intégration des systèmes de transport intelligents à travers le Canada, dans le cadre du Programme de déploiement et d’intégration des systèmes de transport intelligents.
