                  Her Excellency the Governor General in Council,

on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 48 of the Canada Transportation Act, hereby approves the entry by the Minister of Transport, on behalf of the Government of Canada, into an Agreement with the Quebec North Shore & Labrador Railway, in accordance with the terms and conditions that are specified in the draft agreement set out in the attached Appendix, to provide a contribution to the costs of operation of a rail passenger service between Sept-Îles and Labrador City/Schefferville, in the Province of Quebec and in Labrador.

                  Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l’article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre des Transports, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, d’un accord, conforme aux conditions qui sont précisées dans le projet d’accord figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe, avec la société Chemin de fer Quebec North Shore & Labrador, pour contribuer aux frais d’exploitation d’un service ferroviaire voyageur entre Sept-Îles et Labrador City/Schefferville, dans la province de Québec et au Labrador.
