Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to sections 6 and 12 of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Act, hereby appoints Alain Beaudet of Montréal, Quebec, to be President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 10 ($234,300 ‑ $275,700), effective July 1, 2008.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Santé et en vertu des articles 6 et 12 de la Loi sur les Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Alain Beaudet, de Montréal (Québec), président des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci‑jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 10 (233 300 $ ‑ 275 700 $), à compter du 1^er juillet 2008.
