Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

 

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America Relating to the Establishment of Integrated Lines of Communications to Ensure Logistic Support for the Canadian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the United States of America; or

 

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing the Honourable Peter Gordon MacKay, Minister of National Defence, or Michael H. Wilson, Ambassador of Canada to the United States of America, or Guy Saint-Jacques, Minister (Economic) and Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Canada to the United States of America, or Kevin O’Shea, Minister (Political Affairs), to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America Relating to the Establishment of Integrated Lines of Communications to Ensure Logistic Support for the Canadian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

 

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique concernant l’établissement de lignes de communication intégrées en vue d’assurer le soutien logistique des forces armées canadiennes et des forces armées des États-Unis d’Amérique;

 

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant l’honorable Peter Gordon MacKay, ministre de la Défense nationale, Michael H. Wilson, ambassadeur du Canada auprès des Etats-Unis d’Amérique, Guy Saint-Jacques, ministre (Politiques économiques) et chef de mission adjoint, ambassade du Canada auprès des États-Unis d’Amérique, ou Kevin O’Shea, ministre (Affaires politiques), à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique concernant l’établissement de lignes de communication intégrées en vue d’assurer le soutien logistique des forces armées canadiennes et des forces armées des

États-Unis d’Amérique.
