Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the Statistics Act, hereby appoints Munir Sheikh of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chief Statistician, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($199,700 - $234,900), effective June 16, 2008.

 

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 4(1) de la Loi sur la statistique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Munir Sheikh, d’Ottawa (Ontario), statisticien en chef, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement  conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (199 700 $ - 234 900 $), à compter du 16 juin 2008.
