Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that the collection of the tax is unjust, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Financial Administration Act, hereby remits tax under Part I of the Income Tax Act in the amount of $889.24 for the 1997 taxation year, and a penalty of $62.24 for the 1997 taxation year, and all relevant interest thereon, paid or payable by Pierre Dupuis.

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fait remise du montant de 889,24 $ pour l’année d’imposition 1997, payé ou payable par Pierre Dupuis au titre de l’impôt exigible en vertu de la partie I de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu et de la pénalité de 62,24 $ pour l’année d’imposition 1997, ainsi que des intérêts y afférents, estimant que la perception de ces montants est injuste.
