Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Veterans Affairs, pursuant to sections 4 and 5 of the Veterans Review and Appeal Board Act, hereby appoints Edmond Fraser Maher of Orleans, Ontario, to be a permanent member of the Veterans Review and Appeal Board to hold office during good behaviour for a term of three years, and fixes his employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, effective February 1, 2008. 

Sur recommandation du ministre des Anciens Combattants et en vertu des articles 4 et 5 de la Loi sur le Tribunal des anciens combattants (révision et appel), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Edmond Fraser Maher, d’Orléans (Ontario), membre titulaire du Tribunal des anciens combattants (révision et appel) à titre inamovible pour un mandat de trois ans, et fixe ses conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, à compter du 1^er février 2008.
