Attendu que l'honorable Keith A. Hoilett, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, atteindra l'âge de soixante‑quinze ans le 5 février 2008 et, en conséquence, cessera d'occuper son poste à cette date en vertu de l'article 99 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

 

Attendu que l’honorable Keith A. Hoilett a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l'alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges,

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l'honorable Keith A. Hoilett, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de

168 000 $, payable à compter du 5 février 2008.

Whereas the Honourable Keith A. Hoilett, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, will attain the age of seventy‑five years on February 5, 2008, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of section 99 of the Constitution Act, 1867;

 

And whereas the Honourable Keith A. Hoilett has held judicial office for at least ten years;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $168,000 to the Honourable Keith A. Hoilett, commencing on

February 5, 2008, and continuing during his life.
