Whereas, pursuant to subsection 20(1) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the International Letter‑post Items Regulations, substantially in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on June 30, 2007 and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect to the proposed Regulations;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 19(1) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, hereby approves the annexed Regulations Amending the International Letter‑post Items Regulations, made on September 27, 2007 by the Canada Post Corporation.

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 20(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les envois de la poste aux lettres du régime postal international, conforme en substance au texte ci‑après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 30 juin 2007 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre des Transports,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 19(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les envois de la poste aux lettres du régime postal international, ci‑après, pris le 27 septembre 2007 par la Société canadienne des postes.
