Whereas the Honourable Michael R. Meehan, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, died on October 26, 2007, while holding such office;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 47 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $33,600 to the daughter of the Honourable Michael R. Meehan, namely Maia Katerina Meehan Wertheim, commencing on October 27, 2007 and continuing to be paid to her so long as she is a child within the meaning of the Judges Act.

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 47 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde une pension annuelle de 33 600 $ à

Maia Katerina Meehan Wertheim, fille de l’honorable Michael R. Meehan, à compter du 27 octobre 2007, laquelle pension continuera de lui être versée tant qu’elle sera une enfant au sens de la Loi sur les juges.
