                        Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from November 15 to November 18, 2007, inclusive, and from November 21 to November 25, 2007, and it is therefore necessary that another person be appointed Administrator for these periods;

 

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

 

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective

November 15, 2007;

 

(b) appoints the Honourable Heather Forster Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 15, 2007;

 

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather Forster Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective

November 19, 2007;

 

(d) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 19, 2007;

 

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective

November 21, 2007;

 

(f) appoints the Honourable Heather Forster Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 21, 2007;

 

 

 

 


(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather Forster Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective

November 26, 2007; and

 

 

(h) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 26, 2007.


Attendu que l’administratrice du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 15 novembre au 18 novembre 2007, inclusivement, et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour ces périodes,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867,

Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

 

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet

le 15 novembre 2007;

 

b) nomme l’honorable Heather Forster Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 15 novembre 2007;

 

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather Forster Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet

le 19 novembre 2007;

 

d) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 19 novembre 2007.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet

le 21 novembre 2007.

 

f) nomme l’honorable Heather Forster Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 novembre 2007;

 

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather Forster Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet

le 26 novembre 2007;

 

h) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 26 novembre 2007.
